John Harden is a clarinetist from Atlanta, Georgia who graduated from Columbus State University with his Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. Harden is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Clarinet Performance from Arizona State University, where he also received his Master’s Degree. Since his time during undergraduate studies, Harden has been an advocate for new music and chamber music. A founding member of Arcana Reed Quintet, Harden has been invited to international chamber music competitions and international music seminars performing new music, as well as leading commissions projects. A passionate teacher, students in Harden’s studio have placed in competitions such as AZMusicFest and placed in All-State ensembles within their respective states.
