EVSM brass instructors hold degrees in music performance, music education, or brass pedagogy from respected institutions such as Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Brigham Young University, and other accredited universities nationwide. Many have extensive experience performing professionally in orchestras, wind ensembles, jazz bands, chamber groups, and solo settings, as well as teaching students of all ages and levels.

Yes. To support proper technique and musical development, students are required to have a well‑maintained trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium, or tuba at home. Instruments should be appropriately sized and in good playing condition. A mouthpiece, valve oil or slide lubricant, and a cleaning kit are also essential for healthy playing habits and instrument care.
