Let’s Play Music (Ages 4 – 6)

Let’s Play Music is the premier program for developing the complete musician starting between the ages of 4-6 years. A child’s young brain can absorb high-level musical concepts best at this age range through folk songs, creativity, games, imagination, and instruments geared to their learning abilities. Beginning students learn staff awareness, rhythm reading skills, ear training, and solfege hand signs using engaging approaches and instruments to improve motor abilities. The skills are then transferred to playing the piano while learning chord notation, intervals, and harmonic improvisation. The third year culminates in transposition, sight-reading, and composition with a self-written piece performed in the final semester. Many graduates continue with piano lessons, but some change instruments to guitar, violin, choir, band, etc., learning lifelong musical abilities transcending typical piano learning.
