Daniel Kim is a clarinetist from Richmond Hill, Georgia. He is a graduate from Columbus State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Clarinet Performance at Arizona State University. He is a passionate educator and plans to teach the clarinet at the collegiate level. Daniel has taught woodwind lessons privately and at all levels from Elementary to High School. He has led clarinet chamber ensembles, and prepared students for Honor Band and All State performances.
Daniel has played for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra as a clarinetist, and has performed with the Columbus Ballet. Most recently, Daniel placed 3rd overall in the Chamber Category at the International Mozart Competition in Vienna for . In his free time, Daniel enjoys hiking and spending time with friends and family.
