Jonas Turner

Jonas Turner is a dedicated multi‑instrumentalist and educator with a passion for helping students grow as musicians. Currently a high school senior, Jonas brings an exceptionally diverse musical background to East Valley School of Music. He plays a wide range of instruments including flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, guitar, bass, percussion, and piano, giving him a deep understanding of woodwind and brass techniques as well as rhythm and chordal foundations.

Jonas’s performance experience spans multiple ensemble settings, including marching band, jazz band, and symphonic ensembles. Beyond performing and teaching, he enjoys composing original music and creating arrangements of popular songs. He also has hands‑on knowledge of instrument mechanics and repair, allowing him to offer students valuable insight into instrument care, setup, and maintenance.

Jonas is committed to helping students build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and discover the joy of making music. His broad skill set and practical experience make him a versatile and supportive instructor for musicians of all levels.
