Eligibility: All grades; open to students with 2+ years of experience on any orchestral instrument (strings, woodwinds, brass, or percussion)

Class Description: Chamber Orchestra provides advancing instrumentalists the opportunity to rehearse and perform full ensemble music across a variety of genres. Students will refine ensemble balance, cueing, dynamic control, musical interpretation, and advanced sight‑reading while working closely with peers in a conductor‑led setting. This class is ideal for students seeking a deeper musical challenge, stronger ensemble awareness, and the rewarding experience of performing rich, multi‑layered orchestral repertoire.

About the Instructor: Dr. Gregory Kyle Klug is a music educator, composer, and multi-instrumentalist with nearly two decades of teaching experience across K–12, collegiate, and private studio settings. He earned his Doctor of Arts in Music Composition with a secondary emphasis in Piano Performance from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Klug served for nine years as Full-Time Music Director at BASIS Ahwatukee, where he directed three string ensembles and achieved exceptional student representation at AMEA All-State and Regional festivals. In addition to leading string ensembles at East Valley School of Music and Rosie’s House, he has taught music theory, counterpoint, form and analysis, and orchestration at Grand Canyon University and Chandler-Gilbert Community College. As an active composer, pianist, and publisher, Dr. Klug is dedicated to inspiring musicians of all ages through rigorous technical grounding and engaging ensemble performance.

Tuition: $95 per month for this ongoing class. $29 enrollment fee for new students (waived for student enrolled in individual lessons).

Discounts: $10 per month off for students enrolled in individual lessons. $10 off for 2 or more family members enrolled. $20 tuition credit for referrals. (See details on our policies page.)
