Esther Beack is a pianist, vocalist, composer, choir director, and music teacher with over twenty years of experience in the field of music.
Esther started piano lessons with her mom when she was 5 years old and studied piano
from Dr. Younghee Kim in South Korea at Pusan National University. She studied under
Professor Min Sang-soon of the Voice Department. As she participated in a women’s choir, she
developed a passion for vocal music. She pursued studies in both vocal and piano performance.
She earned a bachelor’s degree at Pusan National University and worked in a music company
arranging accompaniment music using MIDI. There, She studied jazz piano and theory under the
guidance of jazz composer, professor Panguen Lee in Seoul Institute Art. She further
honed her jazz piano skills with Dr. Haydon at Georgia State University. Esther B worked as a church
choir director for 15 years. She received a master of art degree from Evangelia University.
Esther B has been a member of the East Valley Music Teacher’s association since 2011 and most of her students have achieved outstanding results
in the Arizona Study Program. She teaches theory and piano from levels 1 to 12. She has taught general music, piano, voice, and theory to
students from elementary to 8th grade at a local Charter school.
She is a composer for chamber orchestra and choir, using the Finale program to arrange and compose
various instrumental and vocal pieces.
Her greatest strength is that she teaches in a fun way, doing her best to build technique and
musicality from the basics skills. She also wants to help children grow emotionally healthy and happy
through music, and contribute to their bright future. She considers herself a passionate and caring
teacher, tailoring her instruction to various genres like classical, jazz, CCM, film music, and Disney to meet students’ preferences.
