TRIAL LESSONS POLICY
PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT TO BE INFORMED
*If you selected a trial lesson with “Owner – Mike Kaminski”: Be advised that completing a trial lesson with Mr. Kaminski does not guarantee ongoing placement with Mr. Kaminski. If he is not the best fit, you will be referred to another well-qualified East Valley School of Music instructor in a timeslot that works for your schedule. Mr. Kaminski’s Home Studio is located in Gilbert, near Val Vista & Williams Field. (We will be contacting you to provide the exact address.) Furthermore, tuition is $240/month for 45-min lessons and $320/month for 60-min lessons.
TIMESLOT HELD FOR 3 DAYS AFTER TRIAL: Please try to book your trial lesson on a timeslot that will work for your schedule for weekly lessons if you decide to enroll. Once scheduled, the weekly trial lesson timeslot will be held until 3 days after the trial lesson before it becomes available.
LESSON LENGTH: Although the trial lesson is 30 minutes, 45-minute lessons are recommended, especially for students ages 7 and up and for piano lessons.
POTENTIAL SCHEDULING ISSUES: Although we do not expect your 30-minute trial lesson to create a scheduling conflict, it is possible we may contact you to reschedule if we find a potential issue.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING: If you need to cancel or reschedule this appointment, you may do so up to 2 hours before. Free trial lessons may only be rescheduled once. If you do not cancel/reschedule within 2 hours and you do not attend, the free trial lesson is forfeit, and you will be required to pay $30 to schedule another trial lesson.
QUALIFICATIONS: We offer 1 free 30-minute trial lesson per student per year. If you have already had a trial lesson in the past 365 days, you will be required to pay $30 for another trial lesson, which will be collected by the front office on the day of the trial lesson. Furthermore, free trial lessons are not offered to students who were previously enrolled within the last 3 months (ex: a student returning to lessons after taking the Summer off).
